Schwarzenegger curbs hurricanes during what scientists predicted what should have been the worst season ever. Despite the vast collective expertise of NOAA scientists, immense quantities of atmospheric and oceanic data, and unprecedented computing power, NOAA failed miserably in predicting weather events a mere six months into the future – and reiterated those same ill-conceived predictions at mid-season.

Yet global warming alarmists, including those at NOAA, expect us to unthinkingly buy into their dire forecasts of global warming – predictions that extend 100 years or more into the future. Forecasting global climate change decades into the future can only be described as orders of magnitude more complex than forecasting an imminent, six Six month-long hurricane season.

LONG BEACH - "Hate crime charges were filed Wednesday against eight white teenagers accused in the brutal beating of three young black women on Halloween.

After reviewing the Police Department's investigation and conducting interviews with the victims, the Los Angeles district attorney's office decided to file hate crime allegations against eight of the 10 defendants, said spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.

The allegations add a four-year sentencing enhancement to charges already leveled against all 10 teens, including assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury.

They described being pelted with lemons and pumpkins, then beaten by a crowd of 20 to 40 people who swarmed around them shouting, "I hate blacks" and "F--- Blacks."

The trio - two of whom are 19 and the third 21 years old - were punched, kicked, slammed to the ground and beaten with a skateboard. Their Halloween costumes were torn and their earrings were ripped from their lobes. They were robbed and nearly killed, they said.

"They really believed that that was it," said one mom. "They thought they were never going to see their friends or family again, that they were going to die."

A Good Samaritan - who is also white - was driving by when he saw the attack, stopped and defended the girls, pulling off their assailants, the victims said.

Lauren suffered 12 fractures in her face that may require multiple surgeries to repair. It's not yet known if the damage to her eyesight will be permanent or if she will lose some or all of her teeth.

Michelle's face is also bruised and swollen as is the lining that surrounds her lungs.

And Laura, like Lauren, suffered a concussion as well as multiple contusions on her back and the back of her head."

Replace every word "black" with the word "white" and vicea versa.

If the roll of race were reversed in this situation, the outrage would have been larger than the rodney king "beatings." However, when a washed up actor uses the "n-word" while completely loosing it at a comedy club two weeks ago, lets see how the LA times covers this news story.

LOS ANGELES- After hecklers shouted that he wasn't funny, Richards made references to lynching and uttered vulgarities. He then said, "Throw his a — out. He's a "n-word," repeating the word over and over.

Joe Hicks, vice president of the civil rights organization Community Advocates Inc., called the move to ban the word "just silly and outrageous." Outside the stray white bigot, the N-word is pervasive only in black communities and among hip-hop and rap artists, "not in the business world, not in the American court system, not in the government."

Hicks, an African American and former director of the Los Angeles Human Relations Commission, said Waters and others shouldn't be trying to alter the course of contemporary urban culture and accused them of "racial opportunism."

"Here's this guy [Richards], who's been nearly out of work with virtually no career to speak of, who's hand-grenaded his career in front of the whole world … and he's supposed to be some sort of barometer for race relations? It's the ultimate absurdity," Hicks said.

Kennedy said that though the movement to end the use of the word is "well-intentioned," one would never hear the most dangerous and reactionary racists use the word.

"There is something troublesome going on," Kennedy said, "when this amount of energy is targeted toward people and a phenomenon that in the overall scheme of things is probably marginal."


There is a large broken dialogue in this nation regarding race, and the "non-partisan" media is very much to blame. Not a single article was printed in the Los Angeles times about the above article about the white women brutally beaten by black men untill Thanksgiving. This happened Holloween night. It took the Los Angeles Times 22 days to print this horrendous brutality.

A white commedian, uses the "n-word"  after a tirade and front page coverage, 3 white women are brutally beaten and 22 days later, a few paragraphs. And only after "hate crime" charges are filled.
